It’s Friday, May 27th, !
It’s not been an easy week, my friends. While caring for yourselves and your body is ALWAYS relevant, we must sometimes turn our attention to the dire needs of others as apart of our introspection and healing journeys. It’s a relief to me that after decades of abuse cover-ups, the Southern Baptist Convention is finally being held accountable for those they’ve harmed. It’s time for us to hold those accountable who perpetuate tragedy because if we don’t now, then when? After the next time 19 fourth graders lives and those lives of their families are stolen from them?
If you haven’t seen this video of Steve Kerr’s reaction to the Uvalde mass shooting, it will stop you in your tracks. And if all of it makes you angry, the very least you can do is fill out this pre-loaded letter form to your senator. While the form asks for gun legislation, it only reflects the information from the Orlando, FL mass shooting in 2016, and there have been 19 MASS SHOOTINGS in this country since.
20 Mass shootings in the last 6 years and nothing has changed with gun laws. Enough.

OKAY - so you filled out the form and went down that rabbit hole with me for a minute. Thank you. Now let’s crawl out and shift today’s focus back to you and your needs. It’s the FOOT ROLL!
This one never gets old, always feels relevant and is SO EASY to do! Grab yourself a tennis ball or - better yet - this pinky ball from OPTP. I have a two at home because although you’ll use one for this technique, you can take two of them into your glute, up your back, etc. Super handy.
Try this while watching a show! I’m super enjoying “Julia” on HBO Max. Julia Child and her husband Paul had the sweetest relationship!


This week’s classes are
A 54 Minute Barre Class with LOTS of hamstring and glute work to support your posture, as well as some really sneaky abdominal work. You’ll be sore in the best way.
And a 37 Minute version of that same Barre class, without the abdominal work. ;)
