Happy Friday, May 20!
It’s getting sooo nice outside, right?! It makes me want to actually walk my dog, pack an army full of snacks and get to the Oakland Zoo, sip an afternoon beverage in the backyard while pushing my little dude on his new swing.
I bet you’re getting outside too, yeah? Are some of you walking, hiking, running outside? If so, scroll through for a technique to keep your ankles stabilizing you.

The Peroneals! (per-OH-nee-ahl)

These buddies are our ankle stabilizers, work super hard when we stand and walk and are often way more sensational than we’d think! I have friends (you know who you are) who request the peroneal roll in pretty much every live Release Technique class they join.
When you’ve got relentless foot or calf tightness, or maybe low circulation in your feet (they get cold when you sit too long) or maybe stiffness in the ankles, even pain down the outer edge of your foot, the peroneal roll might help alleviate those symptoms. If you’re upping your running or hiking, get ahead of ankle issues and roll these dudes! Your hikes will thank you!

Three Class Releases This Week!
A 48 Minute Barre Class that BURNS OUT the thighs and opens up the hips with seated pretzel. Enjoy!
A 22 Minute quickie version of the above class that JUST BURNS OUT the thighs! Haha! I was sore for days!
A 56 Minute Roll Class that just combs through the big major areas and also takes two tennis balls all the way through the back, on either side of the spine.
