Lower Back Pain is Tricky…

Hi Friends!
Lower Back Pain. Sheesh, what a subject. While there can be some serious issues here like herniated/bulging discs or inflammation in the spine, SO MUCH of lower back pain is caused by under use or over use of to soft tissues around it.
Under use, meaning the tissues aren’t being activated or moved quite enough, can make the low back feel really achy mostly because the myofascia just gets really stiff.
Over use, meaning there is so much activity that the soft tissues don’t get time to heal and repair in between, means that the tissues can start to build tension instead of strength and need to be released in order to relax again.
In either case, rolling adjacent and antagonistic fascial and muscle groups will definitely alleviate low back stiffness. OH! And don’t worry, we are rolling the legs and shoulders in this class, too. ;)
