Many people (most of us) hold tension in their head without realizing it at all. This tension can have cascading effects through our bodies and minds. For example, imagine you’re squinting or furrowing your brow all day and giving the muscles in your face a workout for the worst. You’re literally strengthening the muscles of your face to squint. So in many cases, because you’re training them there, they’ll stay that way.
Not only is this a recipe for premature wrinkles in your skin, but it’s it’s a sure fire way to shorten the muscles in your face and the front of your neck. That tension cascades down into the fascia of your chest, ribs, abdomen, pelvic floor.
