New Masterclass | Foam Rolling for Neck and Shoulder Relief

Hi Friends,
Did you know…the fastest way to drop into the “rest and digest,” parasympathetic state of being is through relaxing your neck?
When you’re living in the sympathetic nervous system you’re in what we like to call “fight or flight.” Your nervous system is on alert and ready to battle. We tend to spend more time here than we have to and getting ourselves into the parasympathetic, where we’re truly at ease and calm, takes effort—especially when we’re living in a more stressful environment (read: work deadlines, getting laid off, managing expenses, living through basic life responsibilities, waiting for a very expensive plumbing bid, etc ;)
Because many of us tend to hold stress-related tension in the soft tissues of our necks and shoulders, when we physically release the tension, the stress goes with it. SERIOUSLY. (or as my 3yo little dude would say, “FOR REAL LIFE.”)
So on that note—this week I’ve released by newest masterclass: Foam Rolling for Neck and Shoulder Relief. It’s 60 glorious minutes with the foam roller and another 30 with tennis balls. All the techniques within are designed to take you down into your parasympathetic by way of physically releasing strain, stress and tension.
If you liked the Jaw Relief class, this one is your next stop.

Free Technique of the Week: The Psoas
I hope you love and value this technique as much as I do - I'm so excited to share it with you! It’s a fave of the RT community.
You'll need one tennis ball or something similar, and this might sound random, but please make sure you don't have an inguinal hernia. If you're not sure, an inguinal hernia is a soft bulge in the lower abdomen that tends to enlarge when there's any kind of pressure in that area (like an impending bowel movement, or an engagement of the abs). Hernias can worsen with external pressure like this technique.
ANYHOO...This technique is for you if you feel like your hip flexors are tight, your back hurts after sitting or sleeping, or you're stuck in forward flexion. It takes 5 minutes and it could...just...change your life. (insert laughing emoji) Enjoy!

I send this newsletter twice a month and it always comes with a free technique. On Patreon, you get a technique once a week! Choose a membership from $5-$15/month to get access to techniques and classes. Join us - we are feeling awesome in our bodies over there.
