Slow Down, Tune In, Take Class. 🙏

Hello, Friends.
How are you all doing this December? Me? I am trying real hard to be at peace with hibernating.
You might not know this about me but my autopilot is set on “productivity or bust.” I have a pattern that I’ve noticed. I manifest something, I work to get it. I have it for a while and I’m at peace. Like, zero underlying anxiety. I’m grateful. Then slowly, I get ANTSY. And it creeps in, too. It’s hardly noticeable until it’s unbearable. I am “suddenly” spiraling down a wormhole looking for the button labeled “WHAT’S NEXT?” and some easy shortcuts to get there. I find myself trying to answer the question, “how do we level up from here?” and my subconscious for some reason wants to level up RIGHT NOW.
As a solopreneur, I think this is pretty typical. No one’s going to give you a raise, or offer you a bigger job. There is no team of people leveraging some big idea that you get to be behind—you’ve got to find those things all by yourself. The answers to these questions are not obvious, but I’ve recently been able to recognize my patterns and practice some self soothing. Some examples of my inner dialogue right now:
“The answers to all my needs are speeding their way to me.”
“I am richly rewarded for all that I give." I love my life.”
“Everything in my life flows perfectly. There is so much to be grateful for.”
When I slow down and tune in, I’m able to see that my anxious thoughts and behaviors stem from an unknowing (or a forgetting) of what I really want. And when I slow down, I remember that what I really want is to teach foam rolling to the people. Like, for a living. ForEVAH.
